Tea House

10 St. James Ave.

Boston, MA

the CLIENT
The tea house was to serve as an alternate hangout for Suffolk University students. It would sell light snacks and art supplies. It would also be open to the public and be used as advertising for the New England School of Art and Design.

the PROCESS

The inspiration for the tea house came from the 1951 Walt Disney movie, ‘Alice in Wonderland’, focusing primarily on the scene from the Mad Hatter’s tea party. The goal was to provide inspiration to the art student clientele while providing a whimsical atmosphere for the public to enjoy. The project was rendered using AutoCAD, Sketchup, Kerkythea, and Photoshop.
