The color palette was taken from a peacock’s feather and transitioned as if you were looking at it from left to right. | ![]() the CEILING PARTIThe ceiling panels acted as the dream catcher’s web and would [metaphorically] prevent all negativity from entering the workplace. the CLIENT
NEXT was a fictional nonprofit company invented by Steelcase Inc. The company was constantly striving to be at the forefront of innovation. They wanted flexibility within their space in order to embrace the different ways in which people work.
the PROCESS
The concept for the space was taken from a dream catcher. According to legend, only positive thoughts are intelligent enough to navigate through a central circle and into a person’s thoughts. The negative thoughts get tangled up in the web and disintegrate in the sunlight. This project was rendered using AutoCAD, Revit, and Photoshop.
